Thank you for purchasing Dynatron’s Miracle Remote.
This remote will actually allow you to operate most
if not all of the features found on your TV, just like
your original remote! It is amazingly simple to use.
Remember our slogan: No Programming, No Codes, It Just
Works! Just remember to put in batteries! The operating
instructions are listed below. You
should consult your TV owner’s manual for additional
information on operating specific functions.
Also remember
this is a TV only remote: it will not operate other
devices such as a DVD or VCR, nor will it operate features
not found on your original remote control.

Operating Instructions
This remote is designed to operate most
Sony® televisions. For the common features, please see
the back of the package. Only the more complicated features
and features with alternate names will be discussed below.
The TV/VIDEO* key allows you to access DVD, VCR or games.
The ANT* key allows you to change the VHF/UHF input to Aux
inputs.
The PICTURE IMAGE* key also known as PICTURE MODE allows you
to alternate through the varying video modes.
PICTURE SIZE* also known as WIDE MODE changes picture format,
ratio and size.
PREVIOUS CHANNEL also known as JUMP allows you to view the
last channel.
SPLIT SCREEN* also known as TWIN VIEW ™ allows you to
watch two pictures side by side. Refer to your TV owner’s
manual for more instructions.
Pressing the MENU key once brings up the on screen menu and
pressing MENU again exits the menu. The four-arrow keys allow
you to move through the menu. Press the SELECT key to choose
the menu option. Most TV adjustments
for audio, video and channel auto programming are done through
the menu.
(Note that on certain TV’s made prior to 1990 you will
not be able to adjust the color. In addition, some functions
on older TV’s were done by pressing individual function
buttons on the remote control as opposed to using the menu.)
Pressing the RESET while in the menu will return the TV to
its original factory settings.
Pressing the GUIDE* will bring up the specialized guide for
some cable and satellite receiver.
SLEEP* turns the TV off in 15,30,45,60,90, or 120 minutes.
Keep pressing the SLEEP button to cancel. This feature maybe
accessed through the menu.
AUTO PGM automatically programs all your channels, on newer
TV’s this feature is found in the set- up menu.
CBL allows you to switch from air to cable, and to go past
channel 13 when auto programming on older TV’s.
MTS* changes audio setting including stereo, mono & 2nd
language. On newer Sony TV’s this feature is found in
the MENU.
PIP WINDOW * The following controls are located in the PIP
box at the bottom of the remote.
SOURCE is also known as the 2nd TV/VIDEO button and allows
you to choose alternate inputs.
The CH+/CH- keys are utilized to change the channel in the
PIP window. Note: On TV’s with single tuners you must
use your VCR as the 2nd tuner: please reference your owner’s
manual for complete hookup instructions. Just
a reminder that certain PIP functions or any function not
found on your original TV remote will not work.
