Introduction For MR170

Thank you for purchasing Dynatron’s Miracle Remote. This remote will actually allow you to operate most if not all of the features found on your TV, just like your original remote! It is amazingly simple to use. Remember our slogan: No Programming, No Codes, It Just Works! Just remember to put in batteries! The operating instructions are listed below. You should consult your TV owner’s manual for additional information on operating specific functions. Also remember this is a TV only remote: it will not operate other devices such as a DVD or VCR, nor will it operate features not found on your original remote control.

This remote is designed to operate most Samsung® televisions. For the common features, please see the back of the package. Only the more complicated features and features with alternate names will be discussed below.

The TV/VIDEO* key allows you to access DVD, VCR, Antenna or games.
PREVIOUS CHANNEL returns to the last channel.
The ANT* key allows you to choose the ANTENNA A or ANTENNA B change.
The AUDIO* key also known as S. MODE allows you to alternate through the varying audio modes.
The PIC* key also known as P. MODE allows you to alternate through the varying video modes.
PICTURE SIZE* also known as ASPECT changes picture format, ratio and size.
The MENU key is operated with CH+/- and VOL+/-. The CH+/- allows you to scroll up and down and VOL+/- allows you to make changes to a feature. Most TV adjustments for audio, video and channel auto programming are done through the menu. Menu adjustments cannot be made on some 2004,2005 TV sets.
Once in the menu mode, press the menu button once to exit that menu and continue to the next on screen menu.
To completely exit the MENU press the menu button twice. The menu will come off the screen within 30 seconds if you do not hit any keys.
MTS* changes audio setting including stereo, mono & 2nd language. On some Samsung TV’s this feature is found in the MENU.
SLEEP* turns the TV off in 15,30,45,60,90, or 120 minutes. Keep pressing the SLEEP button to cancel. This feature maybe accessed through the menu.
FAVORITE CHANNEL* - Refer to your TV owner’s manual for instructions for programming.
SURR*-Surround sound.
FOCUS*- Reset TV to factory specs.

PIP WINDOW * The following controls are located in the PIP box on the bottom of the remote.
SOURCE is also known as the 2nd TV/VIDEO button and allows you to choose alternate inputs.
The MOVE* key is also known as LOCATE*. *
The CH+/CH- keys are utilized to change the channel in the PIP window. Note: On TV’s with single tuners you must use your VCR as the 2nd tuner: please reference your owner’s manual for complete hookup instructions. Just a reminder that certain PIP functions or any function not found on your original TV remote will not work.
